The Book Couple (TBC) is a book-packaging boutique located in Boca Raton, FL, geared to helping new and veteran authors publish their books independently (aka self-publish) by producing professional print-ready cover and interior files of a professionally edited manuscript. We work alongside leading POD printers and offset printers to produce high-quality books in any quantity and format desired. Because we are a book packager rather than a self-publisher, vanity (hybrid) publisher, or commercial publisher, the books we produce do not carry The Book Couple imprint. All of our editorial and production services are a la carte. Estimates are drawn up on an individual basis depending on the author’s and manuscript’s unique needs. Here are some highlights:

  • TBC offers assisted publishing to authors who choose to publish independently, allowing them to produce a book that is virtually indistinguishable from a traditionally published book in terms of quality and presentation.
  • TBC offers traditional-quality editorial services at all levels of need and works closely with authors to make their work the best it can be within their budget.
  • TBC’s design services turn a finished manuscript into a cohesive and attractively designed book, waiting to be printed.
  • TBC offers professional custom cover design and interior layout services.
  • TBC guides authors through the process of making their finished product available through online distribution channels as a print-on-demand product and an e-book.
  • TBC offers book development and coaching services to those writers whose work has not yet gone beyond the “great idea” stage. TBC will meet with clients in person or via video chat to discuss and develop their potential topic, identify their target audience, pinpoint what makes their book unique, brainstorm titles, and develop a working outline and game plan for action.
